Ontario Soccer Announcement

Hello Ancaster Soccer Families,

The Ancaster Soccer Board of Directors has been continuing to monitor and evaluate as the COVID-19 situation evolves – including the recent announcement by Ontario Soccer, that all soccer events and activities have been canceled or postponed for the month of June: https://www.ontariosoccer.net/news_article/show/1104798

During this time at home we know patience has been required and we anticipate and are hopeful that a delayed outdoor season will begin later in the summer.
We will continue to follow the announcements and guidelines of Ontario Soccer to ensure a safe, and competitive return to our programs when we are able.

Our refund policy remains the same at this time:

Competitive and Grassroots teams: 
After some detailed analysis about the value and cost of the 7 weeks of indoor programs that did not happen for Grassroots (U8-U12), we are able to offer parents of players U8 through U12 a credit of $160. This credit may be used for any programs at Ancaster Soccer and expires after the end of the 2021 Outdoor Season (October 31st, 2021). No further action is required on your part, the credit will be kept on file and applied automatically when you register for our programs.

Teams U13 and older pay for indoor programs through their team account, so there is no credit for these age groups; instead, their team accounts will simply not be billed for the unused indoor weeks.

For Outdoor House League: We remain hopeful that a delayed season will occur beyond July 1st. If you cannot participate in a delayed season, we are still able to offer refunds minus a $30 administrative fee as per our policies. We can alternatively offer a credit for future programs for the full amount of your registration; this credit may be used for any programs at Ancaster Soccer and expires after the end of the 2021 Outdoor Season (October 31st, 2021). No further action would be required on your part, the credit will be kept on file and applied automatically when you register for our programs.

We are truly grateful for the continued support of our members – players, parents, coaches, referees and volunteers.

Our technical coordinator Darryl and many of our coaches have dedicated themselves to staying in touch with our members and their grassroots and competitive teams, supporting soccer at home and will continue to do so.

Update on the Contract Agreement status for the Soccer Dome between Ancaster Soccer Club and Redeemer University College

Hello ASC Families,

We hope that you are enjoying the Indoor Season so far!

ASC is extremely proud to host an Indoor Winter League that is open and inclusive to all Clubs, in an excellent Soccer Facility.

Ancaster Soccer Club would like to inform everyone that we have an existing Contract Agreement with Redeemer University College for the Soccer Dome. This Contract Agreement is set to expire in 2024.
Presently, ASC is negotiating an amendment to the existing Contract Agreement with RUC.
ASC values all their Business Partnerships and respects all Business activities, including the negotiation process. ASC will continue to work diligently towards resolution and finalizing the amendment to the existing Contract Agreement.
In regards to ASC’s current programs in place, the status quo will be maintained with no impact to schedules.

ASC appreciates your continued support throughout this process. We assure you that our commitment to our Soccer Community remains at the highest of priorities.
