Our Mission
Ancaster Soccer Club (”ASC”) is a proud and supportive non-profit
organization, passionately committed to the ongoing development of players and coaches,
valued by our members and our communities.
The mission of ASC is to create a positive environment and supportive infrastructure in order to provide
members of our community with the opportunity to develop physically, intellectually and socially through
the sport of soccer.
Vision Statement
To be recognized as a premiere soccer club of choice where every player can expect an
optimal learning environment with consistently superior coaching, and training facilities
and where the community acknowledges that the Club consistently demonstrates its leadership
in providing easy to understand and accessible player programs and volunteer opportunities
which are exceptionally well conceived and organized and supported by clear timely communications.
Key Principals
In order to help achieve its mission, ASC will strive to:
- Consistently create a fun filled, positive experience for every participant in
their respected programs and eencourage the development of social
aspects of the game
- Always put the best interest of the player above all others
- Promote sportsmanship, respect,
and sensitivity to the other players, coaches, parents, and referees
- Enhance player self
esteem, confidence, emotional development and overall character
- Provide equal access
to the highest quality and most appropriate of programs of development for both girls
and boys
- Listen and seek to understand - our customers, our team and our sponsors.
- Provide an
environment for referees to develop skills and techniques needed to referee the game
of soccer;
- Provide an environment for coaches to develop skills and techniques
needed to teach the game of soccer;
- Be a constructive contributor to the betterment of
our community
- Assure that all adults associated with the program are exemplary role
models of sportsmanship, leadership and support
- Maintain a balanced perspective on the
outcome of games by being committed to first becoming best, then becoming first
