Welcome to the Ancaster Heritage Days Tournament

The Ancaster Soccer Club is pleased to once again host and cordially extends a personal invitation to you and your club teams, and families, to participate in the Ancaster Heritage Days Soccer Tournament on June 13, 14 and 15, 2008. Our tournament is quickly becoming one of the premier tournaments of the summer!

Last year’s tournament was expanded to include Mini and Recreational i.e. Club Select & All-Star and, Competitive Rep team divisions. The tournament was a great success with rave reviews from players, coaches, referees and spectators, with 216 teams and more than 10,000 people making their way to the main tournament site over the weekend. The 'free' Player T-shirt, coaches bag, lunch, mint condition fields and entertainment, like the kids bouncy castles, provided last year, will make this - the first choice tournament in 2008 for many coaches. We hope it will be yours.

It is expected that as many as 250 Boys and Girls teams, more than 2,500 players, U8 to U18 from across Southern Ontario will be in attendance. There will be a limit on the number of teams in each age group so to avoid disappointment please enter early.

The tournament levels of play are classified as follows:

  • The Mini level of the tournament is classified as “O-IDMC’ and is open to Mini Soccer Club League Teams ONLY.
  • The Recreational level of the tournament is classified as “O-IRDC” and is open to Recreational Club League, Recreational Club Select & Recreational Club League All-Star Teams ONLY.
  • The Competitive level of the tournament is classified as “O-IDCC” and is open to Inter-District Competitive teams only.

The 3 day event guarantees each team a minimum of 3 games, a complimentary hamburger or hotdog lunch for players and coaches, a participation gift for each player and coach and, trophies for the top 2 teams in each division. We believe, great value for your money!

The entry fee of $375.00 must accompany each team’s application.

  • Closing date for applications is June 1, 2008.
  • No application will be accepted without the entry fee of $375.00 payable to A.S.C. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.
  • All cancellations must be in writing and any team canceling after team acceptance shall forfeit all monies to the Ancaster Youth Soccer Club. Teams withdrawing prior to this will be charged a $30 administrative fee.
  • All teams traveling outside of their District are required to obtain a travel permit, which must accompany the application and payment.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the ASC Soccer Office via phone at 905-304-1491, email or fax 905-304-6687.
