Dear Coaches,
The Ancaster Soccer Club welcomes you to its Fifth Annual Heritage
Days Soccer Tournament (HDT). Competition is offered to both girls and boys in Rep/Select/All Star/Mini teams
in: under-8 through under-18. This year's Tournament will be held from June 12 to 14
2009.
The HDT has become one of the largest and highest-quality tournaments in Southern Ontario,
attracting many teams from across Ontario. The HDT draws approximately 10,000 people
and is now the second largest event in the Hamilton area.
The registration fee is $395.00.
Tournament applications are due by May 23/09
Information regarding out tournament is located on the Ontario Soccer Network Website please
register early to ensure that your team is eligible to participate. Many teams missed
the opportunity to participate last year due to the large number of applicants!
We have made many changes to ensure that our tournament continues to deliver great value
for the participants both on and off the field:
- Divisions will consist of a limited number of teams to ensure easier scheduling;
- Detailed
packages will be provided to all participants outlining tournament rules;
- Additional game marshals will be on hand to provide assistance;
- Free lunch vouchers will be provided to all players;
- Participants will receive a free Heritage Days Soccer Tournament T-shirt;
- Amenities for kids, players and adults will be provided within an expanded and improved
Marketplace;
- On Saturday and Sunday, Adidas will present their Play Soccer Road Show;
- The Heritage
Days Parade will take place on Saturday, June 13;
- Fireworks will take place on Saturday
night
Teams outside the Hamilton District are required to obtain travel permits as well as
permission to participate forms. All players (including guest players) must provide a
validated OSA player registration book. Payment can only be made by credit card on the
Ancaster Soccer Club website.
We look forward to you joining us for the fifth Annual Heritage Days Soccer Tournament,
where we are committed to delivering a first-class soccer experience.
