March 2010 Volume 1, Issue 1

From the Desk of the General Manager

Welcome to the 2010 soccer season!  Even though the weather outside has been teasing us, we are in full swing with our 2010 programs.  Registration is underway and we encourage all parents to register early so you guarantee a spot for your children in our programs.
The 2010 season has started off with a bang, in early January we revealed our new Ancaster Soccer Club logo, many thanks to everyone who helped out and supported this project.

Our house league academies have been a huge hit in the community.  Many thanks go to Lou Nagy, the clubs Technical Director, for his passion and hard work in running these first time academies.  The ASC’s 2010 Competitive program has grown in numbers and will be made up of 15 Rep and 12 Select teams which will compete in the SRSL (South Regional Soccer Association) and the MJ (Multi-Jurisdictional) Leagues.  Let’s show our club support to all ASC’s teams and wish them all the best of luck for the 2010 season.

Registration

Please be aware that Registration for the 2010 season is underway.  All returning players may register on line at www.ancastersoccer.com and then click on the Register Online Now button and follow the instructions.

All NEW players must register in person at the ASC office, during office hours which can be located on the clubs website at www.ancastersoccer.com.

New for the 2010 registration season is our VIP Program. How it works is any player who is already registered for the 2010 soccer season and recommends to a friend or family member to register with the Ancaster Soccer Club both parties will have their names entered into a draw for a $200 dollar gift card to Future Shop.  There is no limit on how many times you can have your name entered into the draw.  Simply have the new registered parent mention your name and both parties’ names will be entered into the draw. The deadline for this program will be April 30, 2010.  So encourage all your friends and family members who may be thinking about registering to do so before the April deadline.

Good Luck to everyone!!!!

Communication

We have added a new feature to the clubs website in the form of a “Comments and Feedback” button that can be located half way down the home page on the left hand side.  We encourage all Parents and Players to give us your suggestions and/or your positive or negative feedback regarding the clubs programs.  This communication is very important as it allows us to continue to grow and better the ASC’s programs.

Volunteering

The ASC stands behind our statement posted on the club’s website which reads “Nothing is Bigger at Ancaster Soccer, than our Volunteers”.  Without our trusted and dedicated volunteers our club would not continue to grow and provide quality programs for our children.  With that said, we are in need of volunteers for the 2010 season in all facets, coaches to committee members to volunteers to help out with club events.  To sign up please visit the clubs website www.anacstersoccer.com and fill out the Volunteer Submission form found on the home page.

Sponsorship Opportunities

As Ancaster and the surrounding communities continue to grow the ASC believes that we provide a vehicle to grow your business.  For a more personal conversation regarding sponsorship please forward all inquires to shawn@ancastersoccer.com or feel free to call the office at 905-304-1491 to discuss and personalize a package that best suits your business needs.  Also you can find some of our packages located on the clubs website www.ancastersoccer.com click the sponsorship link on the left hand side Menu.
